All orders are sent using a tracked parcel that requires a signature on delivery.
For a hassle free & quick delivery please provide an address where someone will be available to sign for the parcel, and a direct contact number.
We’ll do everything we can to get your order out as quickly as possible, please allow 2-3 working days for delivery (4-5 for rural areas). Please note your order will not be processed or delivered over the weekend, or public holidays. See our Terms and Conditions for more.
If multiple items are not available to be dispatched from the same store, you may receive your order in several packages.
Unfortunately we do not offer international shipping at this time.
Return freight charges are not covered by Backdoor, however there is no additional charges on replacement items over $50 (excluding surfboards). If we have sent the wrong item in error, we’ll take full responsibility in organising the item to be returned to us and freight will be covered.

Surfboards are insured against any damage in transit, however there MUST be someone available to sign for it. In some cases a collection from your nearest freight depot or Backdoor store may be advised. Boards are a large fragile item, and extra care is taken when packaging. Damage is rare but if something goes wrong Backdoor will attempt to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

experienced . Surfboards may not be dispatched straight away. To avoid the risk
of damage surfboards are shipped Monday - Wednesday only for South Island
deliveries, and Monday - Thursday within the North Island so that your
new board doesn't sit at the Freight Depot over the weekend.
Surfboards cannot be delivered to rural areas.
