Applies to all New Zealand customers over $50 (excluding Surfboards). NZ orders less than $50 are subject to a $5 Courier Fee.

How long will my order take?

Most orders will be processed and dispatched on an Overnight Courier within 2 working days of your order being placed (excluding surfboards). Please allow 3-4 working days to receive your order. Delays can be expected on rural deliveries, during the Christmas Period, and Public Holidays.

To allow for a hassle free and quick delivery, please provide us with an address where someone will be available to sign for the package (please note orders are not delivered over the weekend).

Is my order tracked?

All orders are sent with a tracking number, requiring a signature delivery. Please be in touch if you think your order has been lost.

Surfboards

Free to any Backdoor Store, up to 10 Working days (Logistically dependant).
$39 North Island (excludes rural delivery) 2 Working Days from Dispatch
$49 South Island (excludes rural delivery) 3 Working Days from Dispatch

Please note your board may not be dispatched straight away. To avoid them sitting at the freight depot over the weekend and public holidays, North Island deliveries are dispatched Monday – Thursday, and South Island Monday – Wednesday only.

We currently do not ship surfboards to rural deliveries, and will arrange to have the board collected at the closest freight depot, or a non-rural address of your choice. In most cases we will be in touch before sending your board, and will let you know an ETA on in store delivery as soon as we can.

The board is covered by insurance while in transit, and we do everything we can to reduce the risk of damage. Please make sure to inspect the box before signing for it, and make a note or take pictures of any suspicious marks on the box (holes, squashed ends etc. ) as soon as possible, unwrapping the whole board while the driver is present if possible.

Return Freight

If you have been sent the wrong item in error, we will refund your return freight where a copy of your receipt can be obtained. If you wish to exchange or return an item for a refund it is at your expense, so where possible we do encourage you to visit your local store. Freight will not be charged on replacement orders (over $50, NZ Only).
