DOES MY ORDER COME WITH A WARRANTY?

Due to the accidental nature of Surf and Skate, boards are not covered by any Warranty or Guarantee.

Watches, Wetsuits, and Sunnies are covered by a brand specific Warranty with our supplier. We are more than happy to facilitate any warranty returns (see returns for more information) and aim to have all claims resolved within 10 days working days. In most cases your item will need to be sent back to the supplier for assessment, where they may choose to replace or repair the item.

If you suspect that your item may be faulty, and are unsure of the warranty conditions please get in touch.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED ONLINE?

Our checkout is currently compatible for use of Mastercard, Visa, Q Card, or Masterpass Credit or Debit card. Debit Card transactions are not available for Australian customers. Gift cards are also accepted at the checkout.

HOW SECURE ARE MY CARD DETAILS?

All payments are processed independently through Payment Express and are not held at any time with Backdoor.

CAN I CHECKOUT WITH MY GIFT CARD OR CREDIT NOTE?

You can place an order with us using your Gift Card or Credit Note, however we are currently unable to offer the option at the Checkout page. Instead, please contact shoponline@backdoor.co.nz with your order details and we will process it manually. 

I HAVE PURCHASED A GIFT CARD BUT THERE WAS NO CODE WITH MY ORDER CONFIRMATION?

You will be couriered a barcoded Backdoor Gift Card in physical form to the address provided. 

CAN I ORDER A SURFBOARD THAT ISN’T LISTED ONLINE?

More than likely! Because we keep over 500 boards in stock, we occasionally have stock in store that isn’t listed online. We can also facilitate custom orders, with most being delivered within 8 – 12 weeks depending on availability and our shipment schedule. Please get in touch as we would love to do what we can to get the right stick under your arm.

WHAT IF THE ITEM I’M LOOKING FOR IS NO LONGER SHOWING ON THE WEBSITE?

We do our best to keep stock as up to date as possible, and cannot guarantee that your order will be fulfilled while an item is out of stock. Get in touch and we will do our best.

CAN I SET UP AN ONLINE LAYBY?

Laybys may be offered on a case by case basis. If you are interested in setting up a layby please email us at shoponline@backdoor.co.nz with the Brand, Name, Size, and Colour of the item you wish to purchase (or even better a screenshot of our online listing) and we will look into it for you.
