Got a fun wave to try the Blak Box on Saturday. The board is sick, even with all the gear on (4/3 vest booties gloves and hood) I loved it. Real fast and it just seemed to land the turns for you. Thanks for swinging me towards the Blak Box, been recommending to my mates!!!

I LOVE my Parko. That is the best board I've had in years and the best thing is when I want to get a new one I can get the exact same board again and know I will love it.
You have me for life.
The CV8 went great and was real fun but never got surfed once the Parko was on the scene.

28/07/2010, BREAKING NEWS!! DAMAGED Surfboard Shipment. Late last week a container truck crashed while carrying a precious cargo of boards destined for Backdoor Surf Shop. Out of a shipment of 48 boards from Spider Surfboards in Sth Africa, 32 were damaged mostly having their noses and tails crushed. Some of the damage is just minor nose or tail chips and the worst is where the nose has been broken around 4-6 inches from the nose. These boards are all either the Performance Fish, The Bomb or the new one called the HydroX. They are all in dimensions from 5'9" to 6'4". They retail for $699 - $749 but we will be selling them this weekend at our Takapuna store for between 20-50% off on an as is where is basis. Some of the boards will only be $350 brand new and nearly all of them are easily repaired. 15/04/2010. Loads of new gear has gone into store in the last 2 weeks. Fashion from RPM, Volcom, Rusty, Roxy & Quiksilver together with snow wear from Volcom, Burton, 686 & RPM.
For those that enjoy their snowboarding we have recieved the majority of our Burton boards, boots & bindings. We are waiting on some early delivery 2011 boards from Burton that will be delivered in May. 32 Snowboots will be delivered to store by the end of next week.
Early delivery 2011 Lib Tech & Gnu has just arrived & will be in our Hamilton, Sylvia Park & Mt Maunganui stores by next week. These boards are hot & sold out last year so don't delay. Get in & enjoy the Banana/Magne Traction experience.
19/03/2010. The big news is that Backdoor has opened it's own online store. We are excited about being able to offer NZ's most comprehensive range of surfboards online together with Wetsuits, Snowboards & all the fun things that we enjoy.
As new product arrives we will let you know in this latest news page. Currently we have just received new winter wetsuits from O'Neill & Billabong. New winter product is arriving in our stores every couple of days. RPM winter has just landed & is available online as well as instore while Volcom winter product is only a couple of days away from being instore. Our snow program kicks into gear in April with Burton & several other snow brands due to deliver. Burton snowboard packages priced from $649 are due to arrive & will not last, so get in quick.
We will continue to try to improve the site & add more product. We are committed to boarding whether it be Surfing, Skating or Snowboarding & the lifestyle that they encompass. We don't sell Tents, bikes, fishing gear & rugby boots as we are committed to the lifestyle sports that we love.
