Delivery?
We deliver throughout NZ and do not accept overseas orders.
Delivery Charges?
Freight & Packaging charges are as follows:-
- Free Shipping on All Orders* applies to Nth Island & Sth island deliveries. (Excludes Surfboards)
- Surfboards Nth Island $39.00, Sth Island $49.00 however Rural Deliveries will incur extra freight charges which will be advised prior to delivery
Bulky Items have the option of FREE delivery to any of our stores. This may take up to 7 -10 working days but it is FREE!!
* Rural deliveries on larger items such as Surfboards will attract a delivery surcharge which will be confirmed prior to delivery.
Delivery Time?
Approx 2-3 working days from time of order. Weekend orders are processed the next working day & therefore it would be 2-3 days from then. Every effort will be made for you to receive your goods as promptly as possible.
Surfboards and other bulky items may take up to 5 working days.
The free delivery on Bulky Items may take up to 7-10 working days.
If there is a problem with my order? ie It arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered.
Please let us know immediately and we will replace it or refund you as soon as we receive it back and verify from our end. You will need to notify us immediately & return the product within 7 days.
If the goods arrive with the packaging damaged, please inspect the goods while the courier driver is present or make sure it is noted on delivery docket.

What if the item I'm looking for is no longer available for purchase online?
Popular items may sell out quickly. If an item has been sold out in your size in our online store, please email us at [email protected] and you never know what we may be able to pull off.
Please note: Availability of product can change at short notice. While product levels are kept up to date, it is worked on an item being available at one of our outlets up to 24 hrs earlier. If we cannot fill your order due to an item being out of stock, we will notify you and refund your money promptly.
Can I Custom Order Surfboards or order something not shown on the website?
Yes you can on most brands. Also, Backdoor carries over 500 surfboards through our stores and because of this, not everything is shown on our website. If you are after something not shown, email us on [email protected] and we will do our very best to get what you want.
How secure is my credit card information?
Your Credit Card get's processed independantly through Paystation.
Other important information:
- Garments are reproduced as accurately as possible however slight variation may occur in colour & size specification. Colours may appear slightly different due to camera lighting, computer picture resolution & individual monitor settings.
- Offers are available until stocks sell out.
- All orders are subject to the availability of stock.
